Team Ashton & “Dagny” Agility

It’s been an amazing ride watching team Dagny as they work up the levels in Agility.  They quickly earned their Novice and Open titles, finished their excellent titles and are now competing in Masters, the highest level.  They also tried the Fast class, quickly earning their Novice Fast title.  This year (2013) they have been invited to compete at the AKC Agility invitational competition in Orlando, Florida.  Where we will be heading with the top agility dogs of each breed this December.

 

Ashton & “Laci”

Ashton is taking on a new challenge in raising her first Kuvasz puppy.  It’s not always an easy task even for an adult but she is totally up for the challenge.  Ashton has started Laci’s show training and competed with her at the 4-H fair where they received a Blue ribbon in Showmanship.  Look for them at the AKC shows next year (2014) when Laci is a little older.

 

Ashton & “Dagny”

Dagny came to us on the 4th of July ‘08. As Ashton’s first show dog that was all hers to love and to train on her own. She has done an amazing job with her puppy and we are very proud of them. They qualified for the 4-H state fair for 3 years running. Ashton is the 1st Jr. Handler to place in Jr. showmanship with an Icelandic Sheepdog. In 2009 they won Best Jr. Handler at all 3 of the ISAA National shows, was the top Jr. with a Icelandic AKC and they also earned Dagny’s Herding Instinct title & her Rally Novice title. In 2011 & 2012 they earned the NA, NAJ, OA, OAJ, and AX Agility titles.

Cassidy & “Piper”

Quite the pair.  They showed at the Open Senior Level of Junior Showmanship and Cassidy specialed Piper in conformation.  Cassidy ended 2009 as the #2 Jr. Handler with a Kuvasz, and with Piper as the #12 Kuvasz, in just a few weekends out together.  They  had an amazing 2010 ending the year #7 in all breed points and #10 in breed points.

Ashton & “Flurry”

As a show team, Ashton & Flurry began as a way for Ashton to show at the Kuvasz club of America National Specialty show.  What started as a one weekend thing turned into over a year of fun.  Flurry loves to work for Ashton and the two look amazing together.  In ‘08 Ashton was the #1 Jr. Handler with a Kuvasz, and won Champion at the State 4-H fair.
